Nailed it!
Hey Bloggers!
So, as some of you know, I do enjoy a little dabble with a brush and some nail varnish. For this reason, I recently found myself investing in a very reasonably priced "Nail Sample Kit" from Ebay. It's basically just plastic nails with a stand so you can keep record of how you could do your nails. It's safe to say- we've become very close;).
I came up with my designs before I actually started creating them. Each one varied in time but they were all very worth it in the end. Et voila!...
I call the first design "Mermaid" (dramatic, I know), just because I feel like shine of the miniature sequins I used perfectly resemble the scales of a fish tail:p! This design, be warned, does take timeeee! But it's perfect for those long, hot summers, which is exactly when I made it. The next design I like to call "RAWR!". You get why;). The next I call Shooting Stars, and I did this for my friend on her birthday because it perfectly matched her dress. Put it this way the compliments were as frequent as the sparkles;). Lastly, and quite possibly my favourite design I call "Oh La La" so as not to be confused with just "French Nails". This also takes time but it's so lovely and girly- Paris eat your heart out;)! Want to know any more? Just join my blog and comment! See you at the Nail Bar;)...

I've missed you blogger!
Well, don't we have a lot to catch up on?! I'm so sorry I've been neglecting you all, there's a long and complicated story that goes with this grovel, which I won't bore you with now, but it's safe to say I'm BACK!
Despite not being able to blog, I've made sure to keep a record and take pictures so I can fill you all in! Starting tomorrow, I am once again 100% and offically- yours.

The nail mission, cheap as chips!
Hello Bloggers!
As you may have already gathered, I am a total nerd when it comes to a lot of things, but my favourite subject by far does not involve books that resemble concrete slabs or mystical instruments that look positively medieval. Nope, my favourite subject involves chemicals- but it isn't science, it involves creative skill but it isn't technology, it involves precision but it isn't sport. My favourite beauty subject is, in a word, NAILS.
I have a vast collection of brushes, accessories and colours for my nails, which I am constantly being reminded is trivial for decorating the dead keratin that is growing out of the end of my fingers, but hey-ho?! I am always coming up with and doodling on a note pad, different designs I could produce, because I get inspiration from the weirdest and most insignificant of things. Like the design below, which I thought of after my bracelet got caught and broke on a fence:')
I know right?! I'm weird but you love me;).
a glittery Barry M that I picked up from the Clothes Show, a Yes Love baby pink polish I got from the market in France for about 2 euros, and a KONAD Special Nail Polish in pure white which I found for just a pound at a sale!
First of all, I painted the originally French nails with the Yes Love pink polish- and properly lacquer it on because the tips on fake french nails are stubborn! Then I used my KONAD stamping plate to create the fence-like grid all across the nail- like a cage. When this had properly dried, I added a clear coat to seal it in, then set about cutting the broken chains with regular nail clippers. I ran out of nail glue so I just used a thick line of the glittery Barry M polish to stick the chains along the bottom and voila! Chic, caged nails. Enjoy!

HELP?! My new nail brush set:)...
Morning bloggers!
Instead of blabbing away today, I was wondering if anyone could help me? I've been a complete fashion and beauty junkie from the age of about 11, but when it comes to nails I've only ever made do with odd bits and bobs that I already had, like using cocktail sticks and pins instead of actual dotting tools. So this Christmas, I asked for an actual nail art brush set: and Santa was a babe!
There are 15 brushes in my set; some similar, but some couldn't be more different!

Basically, what I was wondering was- can anybody tell me anything about any of these brushes? Like how they work and what they do? Some of them are obvious, but some I'm stumped on, like the huge fan brushes or the reeaaaally long ones?!
So, grasshoppers, tell me more;) please!

Happy Christmas!
Ah, the day we've all been waiting for is finally here! Merry Christmas everyone! Last year, I went all out for Christmas; sparkles, feathers, all sorts- very meringue, and very twenties. This year however, despite my December issue of Vogue's instructions, I went preppy, and minimal. I snapped this dress up from Miss Guided in Navy blue, after seeing the blogger's miss guided campaign, it was love at first site. To make it a bit more festive family friendly as opposed to dirty disco diva, I layered underneath my old chiffon Primark top- coincidentally a Christmas gift last year.
For my nails, I used the AMAZING Barry M's red nail paint which is just so gorgeous for Christmas with it's deep, rich red and almost metallic yet matte shine. Perfection! On top of this, I used my Konad "Special Nail Paint" in pure white to create scalloped blobs like snow, than added glitter over the top to make it sparkle like frost. How festively appropriate. I know it won't snow this Christmas, but a girl can dream, eh?

So, Merry Christmas one and all, and God Bless. Even if you don't celebrate Christmas, I hope you have a lovely festive season; keep warm and stay safe.

Christmas Eve in London..
This morning I was up at the crack of dawn, slicking back my hair and hopin my faux-sheep skin mittens were in fact where I thought I had left them, all in preparetion for the rather special day ahead of me: Christmas Eve in London. I know right;)
So after hopping on the already, suprisingly crammed train- my adventure began. Gearing up, I nestled myself in the corner and devoured my Company Magazine.

I am writing this to you from my dad's office at Fenchurch Street, with a very Christmasy view of London staring back at me from outisde the cinema sized windows, whilst wishing this was my life everyday.
I will get back to you with some pictures, just to life your spirits;) What's everybody else doing for Christmas this year?
